How to Buy?

At Sun Stone Stables, we are committed to making the process of purchasing your next horse simple and stress-free. Whether you are searching for a dependable family horse, a performance prospect, or a reliable trail partner, our goal is to provide a transparent and supportive experience tailored to your needs.

Step 1: Browse & Select

Begin by viewing our available horses on the website. Each listing features detailed descriptions, photos, and videos to help you understand the horse’s training, temperament, and overall ability. When a horse catches your interest, you can contact us by phone, email, or through our online inquiry form.

Step 2: Ask Questions & Get Information

We welcome all questions and believe in open communication. Our team provides honest and detailed information about each horse’s background, training, and suitability for your goals. References from past buyers are also available to help you move forward with confidence.

Step 3: Visit the Stable (Optional)

Most of our customers choose to purchase remotely since we stand behind every horse we sell. However, if you are nearby or prefer to meet the horse in person, we are happy to arrange a visit so you can ride, interact, and get to know your potential new partner.

Step 4: Reserve Your Horse

Once you’ve made your decision, a deposit will secure the horse. This allows us to hold your horse while we finalize preparation and transportation arrangements.

Step 5: Health Check & Preparation

Before departure, each horse receives a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We also prepare the horse for travel with proper care, including electrolytes and grooming, ensuring they are comfortable and ready for transport.

Step 6: Delivery to Your Location

We coordinate with experienced and professional transport companies to deliver your horse safely to your location. Transport costs typically start at $650 and vary depending on distance, delivery timeframe, and number of horses. Complimentary delivery is available when purchasing three or more horses.

Step 7: Welcome Your New Partner

When your horse arrives, you can feel confident knowing that Sun Stone Stables stands behind every placement. We remain available after the sale to answer questions and support a smooth transition for both horse and rider.
